This kids-only running event, winner of Running USA’s ‘Youth Running Event of the Year’ in 2014, is held at Byrd Park and will offer two different distance options: a 0.5-mile course for children ages four to seven, and a 1-mile course for children 12 and under. All participating children will receive a special Call Federal Marathon Jr. T-shirt, a finisher medal, and post-race food. The race festival, starting at 10:00am and running until 2:00pm, will feature a variety of activities and interactive games, including a photo booth, face painter, arts and crafts, local mascots, and other exciting activities for participants and families.
