Last month, Jelly Roll announced that he was trying to get healthier so he can have a baby with his wife Bunnie XO. He even participated in his first 5K, and has been looking great.
Jelly went so far as to say that he was hoping to do a half-marathon this year. But in a recent sit-down with Evan Paul, he’s saying that he wants to temper expectations just a wee bit.
When asked if he was still up for the challenge, Jelly said, “I may have overshot . . . I woke up and walked two miles this morning and it was brutal. I was like, ‘I gotta put another 11 on that, AND jog?'”
We are with Jelly on this one, 13 miles sounds miserable. Evan then went on to ask him if he had a goal-weight in mind, and he said, “Nah, I just want to feel better.”
Smart move, Jelly. It’s about process, and not the result. We hope that he keeps on feeling better and better each day.
