Please play the original version. - ToesOf course our children our going to hear curse words and other filth in the world we live in but as parents if we are not concerned about what they listen to, sing, speak about, etc. what kind of parents are we? I think the desire to hear the bad words and drug reference is all about self and no concern for our young people. Not "family friendly" at all.
- ToesI disagree and I can't believe some of these comments. When is it ok to say the A word around the house? Maybe its ok to say it around your kids, but not mine. I make every effort to change the channel when I hear a song come on that I know is not appropriate for my child to hear. However, toes doesnt give me a chance to change the channel, since a&* is said in the first few words. Also, how is it ok to talk about smoking a fat one? At some point, the media has to take responsibilty for what they are playing. There is no reason that an edited version cannot be aired during hours that children are listening.

- Traffic ReportI listen to 95.3 when traveling to and from work. We have recently moved to the Powhatan area and were glad to hear businesses from our area advertized. BUT, the traffic report does not include our main thoroughfare (RT 60). This an extremely busy road and a four lane. We would greatly appreciate if this area could be added to your report. Three times in the last four months we have had delays, and this morning was a very long delay east bound. We still don't know why this morning. Thank you,

- rest stopsyes, there are people who can afford their homes or food but if a truck driver who has been driving all night to deliver our goods to us falls a sleep and gets killed because he could not stop to sleep for a little while, how are we to get those goods???? No one cares about the hard working truck drivers having no where to stop to rest or eat. They just can't stop anywhere with a 53' trailor attached.
- Dog dying in carWhile the incident is absolutely a tragedy and I am sure that she did not knowingly harm the dog, being that irresponsible should have a price - the poor dog was incapable of helping itself and literally baked over the period of a couple of hours...and Catfish, I love you, but there really isn't anything funny about it. On the other hand Vick, which has absolutely nothing to do with this situation, admitted to electricuting dogs that had become nonearning assets to him...if you are smart, you should fear that kind of callousness toward any helpless living creature....next it might be your 80 year old grandmother, or sister, or child (and yes, there is a tie between violence against animals and people)......
- I-295Vdot states road buckeled. I was there and I say BULL **** the problem is you can't put in a concrete patch 30 feet long 10 feet wide with out rebar. I hope some of the people that had damage to there vehicles took pictures and fill a suite. I-295 have been the poorest road since the day it was opened.

However, your listeners need to know that under the code of Virgina law enforcement personnel are exempt from this while performing their job duties; therefore, they are not breaking the law. How about supporting our men and women in law enforcement who protect us every day instead of being so eager to critize them and make comments before you have all of the facts.

They spend enough time on the interstate on 85 as it is with people falling asleep BECAUSE they don't stop. Now that they can't stop, there will be more accidents, people stopping on the side of the road causing more issues. I think it was a very bad idea and if anything they shouldn't be closing something that actually helps people stay awake and safe. 84 is sleepy enough alllllready!! If the state really cared then they wouldn't be putting more danger on the roads than there already is!
