Everyone has different holiday traditions. What are some of your favorite ones? What is the one thing that you love doing more than anything else during the Holidays? Something that if you were to miss out on it, it wouldn't be right and it wouldn't feel like the holidays?

While you ponder, I'll get you in the holiday spirit and tell you my five favorite things to do.

1. Opening one present the night before

I celebrate Christmas, so my brother and I always exchange one present on Christmas Eve. It's like the appetizer before the big opening present feast the next day.

2. Leaving Cookies for "Santa"

So, I might be well into my 20's and my brother almost there, but we still like doing the things we did when we were young tots. Since my brother and I stay at my parents' house for Christmas Eve, we make cookies and leave them out on the fireplace for good 'ole Jolly St. Nick. My parents even eat some of the cookies and make it look like the big, white haired dude ate them himself. Cheesy? Yes. Embarrassing? Maybe. Are we going to stop doing it? No.

3. Staying in our PJ's all morning

My parents, brother and I generally roll out of bed Christmas morning...bed-hair and all. And, we stay that way until we finish opening all of our presents. I like the relaxed atmosphere and how relaxing it is.

4. Company Holiday Parties

You spend the most time with the people you work with. But you really only get to see one side of them: their work side. Company Holiday Parties are a way for you to hang out with your co-workers in a non-work environment and really see who they are. You may laugh, cry and yell...but I think these parties help keep you sane.

5. Being with my family

I don't mean to get all sentimental, but I love spending time with my family. I don't get to see my brother a lot because he is at school in Auburn, my parents work a lot and I live about 30 minutes from them. My extend family lives here too, so when I don't see them a lot during the year, Christmas is the one time we get to spend all day together.

What are some of your favorite holiday traditions? Do you do anything out of the ordinary?
