As the year comes to a close, all of us at K95 are starting to reflect on all the great country albums that came out this past year. Here's a few of our favorites... let us know your thoughts and what you thought were the best albums!

"'American Saturday Night' by Brad Paisley is just awesome. Brad helped write every song on the CD... quite impressive! Other CD's that I think are great...

'Feel That Fire' by Dierks Bentley who helped write quite a few songs on the CD.

Jason Aldean's 'Wide Open'

Keith Urban's 'Defying Gravity'

Not sure if the Zac Brown Band's 'The Foundation' qualifies since it came out in November of last year, but boy what an impact it has had on 2009.

Same thing for Darius Rucker and 'Learn To Live' that came out in September of '08."

"'Troubadour' by George Strait. Some of King George's best work. Hands down the one cd you must have from '09. 'Livin for the Night' that he co-wrote with his son should have been song of the year!

That said, a very close second is Brad Paisley's 'American Saturday Night'. It snagged the number one overall spot for CD of the Year according to Time. This includes all types of music. With the hits 'Then' and 'Welcome to the Future' Brad continues to be country music's most underrated star. But that is what makes him so darn cute!"
